As Vice President, Ms. Clement directs all of the company’s real estate accounting operations, reporting, audit, compliance and risk management activities, human resources and information technology functions.

Prior to joining Capstone Advisors in 2002, Ms. Clement served as Vice President of Finance and Controller with Guild Mortgage Company, a leading privately-held mortgage company in the Western United States. There she was responsible for reporting the financial results of over 60 branch locations operating in eight states, managing all credit facilities, corporate budgeting, and managing an accounting system conversion.

Ms. Clement previously served as a senior auditor with the San Diego office of Deloitte & Touche, LLP, a Big 4 international public accounting firm. Her client base included public and privately-owned companies operating primarily in the banking industry.

Ms. Clement holds a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration with an emphasis in accounting from San Diego State University where she graduated cum laude. She is a Certified Public Accountant (inactive) in the state of California.
